Canadian Consul General visits Iron Horse Industrial Park

Braving a cold front that had blown in the previous evening, Consul General of Canada Sara Wilshaw visited Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s Iron Horse Industrial Park in mid-December to see the progress made on the site.

Accompanied by CPN Director of Economic Development and Planning James Collard Ph.D., Consul General Wilshaw walked the recently laid rail lines running through the industrial park. Consul General Wilshaw, a regular visitor in Oklahoma, also represents the Government of Canada as an official diplomatic representative for the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico.

Ties between Canada and Oklahoma are already strong, with the North American nation being the state’s largest trading partner.
